Mitsubishi Recall ASX, Outlander and Outlander PHEV

Mitsubishi Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of Mitsubishi ASX, Outlander, Outlander PHEV details as follows:

 

Model	Year of Manufacture
ASX,	2013 – 2016
Outlander,	2013 – 2016
Outlander PHEV	2014 – 2016

 

Mitsubishi have identified a safety issue whereby the parking brake might work with lower efficiency or might be inoperative.  The parking brake lever shaft might be stuck due to corrosion or/and the auto-adjuster of the rear brake piston assembly might be inoperative.

 

There are approximately 625 vehicles affected, currently on the Irish market.
