Lexus recalls various vehicles

Lexus Ireland has issued a voluntary recall of various models produced between March 2006 and March 2010.

The recall is being carried out due to a potential problem with a fuel delivery pipe and the possibility of a fuel leak while the car is being driven. This requires a repair to the fuel delivery pipe and a replacement of the fuel pressure gasket.

There are 514 vehicles affected in Ireland.

The following models may be affected by this recall: GS450h, GS300, IS250(C), IS-F, LS460 and LS600.

What to do

Lexus Ireland will be writing directly to those customers involved in this recall to arrange to have their vehicles re-fitted.

The letter will advise you to contact your nearest Lexus dealer who will arrange to do the refit free of charge.
