Regulation of lobbying

Section 6(4) of the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 requires each public body to publish a list showing the name, grade and brief details of the role and responsibilities of each “Designated Public Official” of the body. The Designated Public Officials of the CCPC are below.;

Designated Public Officials 

Brian McHugh, Chairperson 

Brian McHugh is the chairperson of the CCPC. As well as collegiate decision making with other Members on all aspects of the organisation, he manages the staff and administration of the Commission, including the Human Resources, Communications, Consumer Enforcement, Legal Consumer and Corporate, and Corporate Services Divisions. 

Úna Butler, Member 

Úna Butler is a Member of the CCPC. As well as collegiate decision making with other Members on all aspects of the organisation, she currently oversees the Cartels, Forensic Technology and Data Analytics, Data and Digital Regulation, Market Surveillance, Competition Legal, and Antitrust Divisions.  

Geoffrey Gray, Member 

Geoffrey Gray is a Member of the CCPC. As well as collegiate decision making with other Members on all aspects of the organisation, he currently oversees Mergers, Research, Advocacy and International, Consumer Protection and Adjudication Divisions and the Chief Strategic Advisor.
