CCPC publishes statement on privacy and legal professional privilege rights March 3, 2023

The CCPC has published its Statement on the Treatment of Seized Material that is the subject of Privacy or Legal Professional Privilege Claims.

This statement sets out the principles applied by the CCPC when using its entry, search, seizure and retention powers to investigate suspected infringements of competition, consumer protection and product safety law.
