Consultation on the CCPC Strategy 2027-2029
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has an economy-wide remit to promote compliance with and enforce competition, consumer protection, product safety, digital and data law. We work to achieve our vision of open and competitive markets where consumers are protected, and businesses actively compete. Our aim is to make markets work better for consumers.
To achieve this, we work to influence public debate and policy development, inform and educate consumers and businesses, grow public understanding of the importance of open and competitive markets, promote competition and highlight the interests of consumers. We provide information to consumers about their rights, personal finance and product safety, through a consumer helpline, a dedicated section of our website, public awareness campaigns and through our various financial education initiatives.
Every three years, the CCPC develops a strategy statement setting out our strategic priorities, objectives and the high-level ambitions of the organisation. With our current Strategy 2024– 2026 due to expire this year, we have commenced the development of our strategy for 2027-2029. In developing our next strategy, we are inviting interested stakeholders, consumers and businesses to let us know where they think the CCPC can have the greatest impact and deliver the best outcomes.
You can access our short questionnaire which we have developed. If you require support making a submission, please email facilities@ccpc.ie or call 01-4703672 or 01-9133423. Submissions should be completed by 5pm Friday, 24 June 2026.
