The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has determined that the proposed acquisition by DAA plc of the freehold interest in, and thus sole control of, a site located on the R132 Swords Road, Dublin 9, from Mr Gerard Gannon, may not be put into effect on the ground that the result of the proposed acquisition will be to substantially lessen competition in the market for the provision of car parking spaces to the public in the vicinity of Dublin Airport.
