During an inspection at their premises at "Temptation Jewellers", Silverbridge Shopping Centre, Knock Road, Claremorris, Co. Mayo, F12 E8C7, Western Flower Wholesalers Temptation Limited , a trader who supplies an article of precious metal from their premises to which the public has access, the CCPC found the trader to be in breach of failing to exhibit a notice in the form set out in the Schedule to the relevant legislation in a position so as to be clearly visible and easily accessible to a consumer before or immediately after entering the premises as required by Regulations 7 and 8 of the relevant legislation.
The CCPC served a Compliance Notice on Western Flower Wholesalers Temptation Limited which took effect on 29 August 2025 directing the trader to do the following:
- Western Flower Wholesalers Temptation Limited, a trader, is hereby required to display a notice in the form set out in the Schedule to the relevant legislation (in accordance with Regulation 7 of the relevant legislation) at your premises and to display it in accordance with the requirements of Regulation 8 of the relevant legislation.
