Towering Leisure Limited trading as The Shire ('the trader'), was required to display a notice, immediately outside or immediately inside each entrance to the premises, specifying the price charged for any of the beverages specified in the relevant legislation (‘the 16-item list’) which were on sale in the premises. During an inspection at the trader's premises at The Shire, Michael Collins Place, Killarney, Co. Kerry, the CCPC found the trader to be in breach of this requirement.
The CCPC served a Compliance Notice on the trader, which took effect on 21 April 2025, directing it to display, in a clearly visible and legible form, immediately outside or immediately inside each entrance to the premises, a notice specifying the price charged for any of the beverages specified in the 16-item list which were on sale in the premises.
