Huntsman (Western) Bottlers Limited, (‘the trader’), was required under the relevant legislation to display a price list for certain foods including beverages (other than alcoholic beverages) sold to the public for consumption on the premises. During an inspection at the trader’s premises at The Huntsman Inn, 164 College Road, Galway, Co Galway, the CCPC found the trader to be in breach of this requirement.
The CCPC served a Compliance Notice on the trader, which took effect on 24 October 2025, directing it to display, in a clearly visible position and legible form, a notice or notices in accordance with the relevant legislation, to be displayed immediately outside or immediately inside each entrance to the premises open to the public.
