Pure Fashions Limited trading as pureonline.ie, the trader, was found, when inspecting the trader’s website, https://www.pureonline.ie/, to have engaged in a prohibited commercial practice by failing to adequately provide readily available contact information for consumers to be able to contact the trader under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and, in particular, its section 106(1)(a). That information would be likely to cause the average consumer to make a transactional decision that they would not otherwise make.
The CCPC served a Compliance Notice on the trader, which took effect on 8 May 2026 directing it to remedy the contravention identified on the website https://www.pureonline.ie/ in order to ensure that the trader’s telephone number and email address, and, where applicable, the details of any other means of online communications provided by the trader which guarantee that the consumer can keep any written correspondence with the trader, including its date and time, on a durable medium, accurately reflects the legal rights a consumer may avail of as provided for by Part 5 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
