Crean Solutions Limited trading as Micksgarage.com (‘the trader’) was found, when inspecting the trader’s website, www.micksgarage.com, to have engaged in a prohibited commercial practice by providing information that would be likely to deceive or mislead consumers as to their legal right to remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 where the goods delivered by the trader are not in conformity with the sales contract. That information would be likely to cause the average consumer to make a transactional decision that they would not otherwise make.

The CCPC served a Compliance Notice on the trader, which took effect on 2 June 2026, directing it to remedy the contravention identified on the website www.micksgarage.com in order to ensure that any statements including terms and conditions and returns policies, in relation to remedies where the goods delivered by the trader are not in conformity with the sales contract, accurately reflects the legal rights a consumer may avail of as provided for by Part 2 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
