Product safety information notice on Haier Built-in Heat Pump Tumble Dryers.

The risk reported to the CCPC is of fire. It is possible for an internal short circuit to occur within the tumble dryer during normal use. This can cause the tumble dryer to ignite, causing a fire.

The affected product was on sale from 2020 to 2024.

There is approximately 1 affected product in the Republic of Ireland sold via Home Trends Limited.

What to do:

Customers are strongly advised to stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer to arrange for a modification to take place. The product should not be used until the modification has taken place. If the plug is accessible, switch off and unplug the appliance.
