A safety issue has been identified with a dual purpose hair straightener sold by a third-party seller (Guangzhou Chuangxing Hair Products Co. Ltd) on SHEIN marketplace.

The risk reported to the CCPC is electric shock. Due to inadequate circuit design, the user could access live parts and receive an electric shock.

The brand is CRASTS. The model number is HS-033. The Product identifier is sb25070354235882854.

There are approximately 24 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

If you purchased one of these products, please stop use immediately, discard the product, and keep it out of the reach of children.
