Johnson Outdoors Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH recalls SCUBAPRO Monorail Weight Pocket

Johnson Outdoors Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH is carrying out a recall of a SCUBAPRO Monorail Weight Pocket.

The product presents a risk of drowning. The D-ring handle that is used to unlock the weight pocket from the Buoyancy Compensator Device (BCD) can detach during use. If this happens, the user may not be able to remove the weight pocket in an emergency to rise to the surface, creating a risk of drowning.

The brand is SCUBAPRO. The product was sold in a Standard size and a Mini size.

There are approximately 2 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

The product was sold by Flagship Scubadiving Ltd, Jenkins Yard, Sandycove, Co. Dublin between November 29, 2025, and February 13, 2026.

What to do:

If you purchased one of these products, please stop use immediately.

Consumers can receive a free repair of the Monorail Weight Pocket at Flagship Scubadiving Ltd, or by returning the product free of charge directly to SCUBAPRO.
