The brand is Sangamo. There are 3 colour variants: White, Black and Silver.

The risks reported to the CCPC is electric shock, burns and smoke Inhalation. The housing of the fused timer becomes distorted exposing the consumer to live parts. The consumer may use the product and touch the live part resulting in potential electrocution. The housing of the fused timer can overheat and melt resulting in potential burns and smoke inhalation.

There are approximately 2,240 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Consumers should stop using the product and have it replaced by a registered electrical contractor immediately.
