TEMU recalls PANCERKA Sandwich Maker sold on the TEMU platform

Temu is carrying out a recall of a PANCERKA Sandwich Maker sold on the TEMU platform by third-party seller VitaSqueeze.

The risk reported to the CCPC is fire and electric shock. The connector hood may become detached. The user could access live parts and receive an electric shock. Additionally, the power cable may heat excessively leading to overheating and fire.

All small appliances must be compatible with a standard three-pin wall socket. Products fitted with two-pin plugs are not suitable for sale to consumers in Ireland and should not be purchased. An exception applies to compliant Europlugs used with compliant supply units for shaving devices.

What to do:

Consumers should stop using the product immediately and dispose of it sustainably in accordance with local electrical waste (WEEE) guidance. TEMU has contacted affected consumers regarding this recall on behalf of the seller and assisted them with the refund process.
