Product Safety Information Notice on YASHE Mini Fridge sold on the Temu platform

A safety issue has been identified with YASHE Mini Fridge sold by YASHE GLOBAL on the Temu platform. 

The risk reported to the CCPC is electric shock. The product failed to meet the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU).

All electrical chargers must be compatible with a standard three-pin wall socket. Products fitted with two-pin plugs are not suitable for sale to consumers in Ireland and should not be purchased. An exception applies to compliant Europlugs used with compliant supply units for shaving devices.

The brand is YASHE. The Temu Goods ID is 601099679582016.

There is approximately 1 affected product in the Republic of Ireland. 

What to do

Consumers should stop using the product immediately and dispose of it sustainably in accordance with local electrical waste (WEEE) guidance.
