A safety issue has been identified with soother holders sold by a third-party seller on the TEMU platform.

The risk reported to the CCPC is choking and entrapment. The design and robustness of the detachable fasteners are such that there is a risk to the child of ingestion and choking.

The model number is A40-1. The batch number is 56398. The barcode is 3201428948. The brand is unknown.

There are approximately 30 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Customers should stop using the product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.

TEMU has contacted affected consumers in relation to this recall and arranged refunds on behalf of the seller.
