Motea GmbH recalls Craftride Ape Hanger B2 Motorcycle Handlebars

Motea GmbH is carrying out a recall of Craftride Ape Hanger B2 Motorcycle Handlebars.

The affected handlebars were sold in the Republic of Ireland between March 2019 and October 2022.

The risk reported to the CCPC is that of injury as there have been cracks in the weld seam of the handlebar. This can lead to a loss of control and consequently to an accident, resulting in a risk of serious injuries or even death.

The brand is Motea GmbH. The type/number of model is Handlebar Ape Hanger Fat B2 1-1/4″ H 14″. The barcode is SKU 992140 and SKU 992141. The batch number is unknown.

There are approximately 23 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
