IKEA Recalls VARMFRONT power banks

IKEA is carrying out a recall on the VARMFRONT power banks.

The risk presented by this product is fire. This may result in burns to consumers.

Certain types of VARMFRONT power banks are being recalled.

1. The power bank capacity is 5200 mAh. The product is blue. The article number is 70555647, with date stamp [YEAR/WEEK] 2318, 2319 or 2322.
2. The power bank capacity is 10400 mAh. The product is dark blue. The article number is 10555645, with date stamp [YEAR/WEEK] 2313, 2316, 2318 or 2319.

There are approximately 498 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Consumers are advised to stop using the product and to contact IKEA . Consumers can return their power bank to any IKEA store for a replacement or full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required. Consumers can also contact IKEA on 01 696 6246 or visit www.ikea.com/ie for further information.
