B&Q Ireland Limited is carrying out a recall of a 9 Inch Table Fan.

The product presents a risk of electric shock and fire. Due to a manufacturing fault, the sleeving of the power supply may become damaged during use resulting in the product overheating and melting, creating a risk of electric shock and fire.

The type/number of model is FT23A. The batch numbers are 25W50, 26W05, and 26W11. The bar code is 5063022605689.

The product was on sale online and in B&Q stores from March 2026 - July 2026.

There are approximately 386 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

If you have this product, please stop using it immediately, unplug from the mains, and return it to your nearest B&Q store for a full refund.
