Product Safety Information Notice on Hunter Price Crayola-Branded Discovery Craft Box.

The products present a risk to health as the sand inside the product may contain asbestos. Asbestos is a banned substance across the EU because it poses a risk to health. HSE Public Health advice is that there is low risk to human health from these sand products based on current information.
The brand is Crayola. The model number is 35501. The barcode is 5061047355015. The item code is 5061047355015. The product was sold between August 2025 and April 2026 in The Works, Wilton Shopping Centre Co. Cork.
What to do:
The CCPC is advising consumers who have the product in their home to do the following:
- Stop using the product immediately.
- Place the product in a heavy-duty plastic bag, seal it securely, label it clearly and store it in a secure location out of reach of children.
- If the sand has been used, clean sites where the product was used using wet cloths to avoid generating dust. Wear gloves and a protective FFP2 face mask or equivalent. Do not use a vacuum cleaner for clean-up. Double bag the sand, gloves, mask and cloths. Seal it securely, label it clearly and store it in a secure location out of reach of children.
- Prior to disposal contact The Works to request a refund.
