CCPC submission to the LRSA on the creation of a new profession of conveyancer

Submission of the CCPC to the Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA) on the creation of a new profession of conveyancer. The CCPC made 19 recommendations in support of introducing a new profession of conveyancer. These recommendations touched on the regulatory framework, e-conveyancing, and education and training, amongst other issues. The rationale for a new profession is that it would increase competition in legal services and bring many benefits to consumers such as lower fees, greater choice and higher quality of service.
