Submission of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) to the Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA) third Statement of Strategy survey in 2022.
In its submission the CCPC called for the LSRA’s third Statement of Strategy to focus on the implementation of reforms to education and training, the development of a communications strategy to support consumers to compare legal services, the publication of a report on the creation of a profession of conveyancer, and a renewed focus on reforms such as direct access to barristers in contentious matters and the introduction of Multi-Disciplinary Practices.
