CCPC submission to the Department of Finance consultation on the National Payments Strategy (NPS)

Submission of the CCPC to the Department of Finance consultation on the National Payments Strategy (NPS). In its submission, the CCPC said it would welcome initiatives under the NPS which assist in promoting further competition in the payments sector and, in particular, measures that support the implementation of instant payments. We also highlighted the forthcoming National Financial Literacy Strategy and how this should complement the payment strategy in identifying ways to assist consumers in understanding the payments system, including how to identify frauds and scams.
