The CCPC submitted the following response to the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment (DCCAE) consultation on the development of a new Waste Action Plan for Ireland as part of the transition to a Circular Economy.
In the submission, the CCPC maintains its findings and recommendations from its 2018 Market Study: ‘The Operation of the Household Waste Collection Market’. The CCPC argues that a new regulatory framework for the market is needed which would better support the effective transition to a circular economy.
