CCPC submission to the consultation on the Consumer Protection Code

Submission of the CCPC to the Central Bank of Ireland consultation on the Consumer Protection Code. In its submission, the CCPC welcomed many of the proposed measures to be included in the revised code as they will help strengthen the protections available to consumers when they engage with different financial service providers. Our submission highlighted that it will be important the code equips consumers with the ability to more easily switch between products and that many of the issues the revised code aims to address will benefit from improved financial literacy.
