CCPC submission to the consultation on alternative fuels infrastructure for transport

Submission of the CCPC to the Department of Transport consultation on alternative fuels infrastructure for transport. In our response we stated that at this early stage in the development of the electric vehicle market in Ireland, it will be important that measures put in place to encourage the uptake of EVs will ultimately result in a wide range of choices for consumers. If a more competitive EV charging market is to be created in Ireland, then it is important that the measures contained in the EU Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation are actively monitored and effectively enforced.
