CCPC submission to the Central Bank of Ireland’s Consumer Protection Code Review discussion paper

Submission of the CCPC in response to the Central Bank of Ireland’s Consumer Protection Code Review Discussion Paper. In its response, the CCPC sets out a number of recommendations and observations for consideration, including how the Central Bank can support competition in financial services and the role switching can play in unlocking greater competition in the market and empowering consumer choice. The response also addresses consumer protection issues arising out of the complex nature of financial products and the difficulties consumers face in understanding key features of financial products.
