The CCPC’s State of Competition in Ireland programme assesses how competitive conditions have evolved over a 15-year period (2008-2022) and the barriers that most affect entry and expansion in 2025.
Building on consultation feedback, the project combines structural indicators, business performance measures and dynamic metrics to create a series of reports, which will provide an evidence base for further research, advocacy and enforcement.
The CCPC expects to use the analysis of these reports to identify potential topics or sectors that warrant further attention and assessment as part of a future market study.
