A survey commissioned by the NCA and carried out by Amárach Research shows that switching between service providers is on the rise.
It found that Irish consumers who have switched service providers did so in order to get a better deal, with four in five saving money as a result.
The survey also found that:
- 14% of consumers have previously switched broadband provider
- 4% of consumers switched electricity provider over past 12 months
