The Compare and Switch report looks at consumers who remain with the same provider without switching in the energy, telecommunications, retail banking, and insurance sectors. The report is based on research undertaken by the CCPC between January 2021 and December 2022, including a consumer survey and engagement with regulators in Ireland and internationally.

The report highlights a number of findings and further areas for consideration relating to: information transparency; fear of loss of service/coverage; digital divide; and, vulnerable consumers.
