Our Money, Our Future: 2026-2027 applications now open

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) is delighted to announce that applications for the 2026 Our Money, Our Future sponsorship programme are now open. 

Our Money, Our Future is a Global Money Week aligned sponsorship programme by the CCPC. It supports post-primary schools and Youthreach centres to develop creative, student-led financial literacy initiatives. 

This is part of our ongoing work to promote responsible financial behaviour and empower our young people to make good financial choices.  

Know any teachers or schools that might be interested? Spread the word and encourage them to apply for sponsorship.

What can my school do with the sponsorship?  

Sponsorship supports schools and centres to design and deliver initiatives that bring financial literacy to life in engaging and practical ways. 

For inspiration, check out the Our Money, Our Future: Award Winners 2026. These projects highlight the power of student voice, creativity, and collaboration. You can also explore our teacher resources for tips and ideas, including ways to link financial education to subject areas and a toolkit to help shape initiatives for your class. 

Global Money Week & Awards 

Sponsored initiatives will be eligible for awards across several categories in the Our Money, Our Future competition. 

The programme also forms part Global Money Week, with school projects showcased at the national launch event in March 2027. This event celebrates students’ work and provides an opportunity to share ideas and approaches to financial literacy across schools and centres. 

How do I apply?

To apply for sponsorship for your school/centre’s financial literacy initiative, please complete the application form by 25 September 2026.
