The new consumer TV show kicks off this Thursday evening, 7 March, sponsored by the CCPC. Each week, consumers will share their experiences of being unfairly treated. Financial guru Eoin McGee, along with three consumer experts, help investigate and solve these consumer dilemmas.

This week, we meet a couple who booked their dream wedding villa through social media and paid upfront, only to fall victim to a cruel wedding accommodation scam. Like most holiday rental scams, they got sent photos imitating a holiday villa by a fraudster pretending to be somebody else.

Irish priest, Father Paul Campbell had his flight cancelled in March 2020 due to the pandemic, and the airline gave him a voucher. But when it came to using this voucher or getting his refund, it proved anything but straightforward! Consumer specialist Conor Pope helps Fr. Paul work a miracle to remove the obstacles put in his way!

We also meet Simon whose search for love on a dating site landed him in subscription heartache. After signing up for a one month discounted trial, he got caught up in a rolling subscription without realising this was going to happen. He found it very difficult to cancel the subscription, we see how the matter gets resolved for Simon.
