Yamaha recalls to repair certain MWD300 (TRICITY 300) Motorcycles.

The affected products were manufactured from July 2020 until March 2023.

The product presents a risk of injuries. Due to a fault with the Standing Assist System it may not release immediately after deactivation. This can lead to the rider falling from the motorcycle resulting in bruising and fractures.

The brand is Yamaha. The affected models are BX91, BX94, BED1, BED2, BED7 and BED8. The VIN numbers are MLESH161000001004, MLESH161000012156, MLESH201000001001 and MLESH201000101390.

There are approximately 51 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Yamaha Dealers will directly contact all affected customers advising them to make an appointment with their local Yamaha Authorised Repairer where the product will be modified.
