The manufacturing dates are as below:

  • CRF1100D2/D4: From 20th August 2019 to 31st May 2022;
  • CRF1100A2/A4: From 20th August 2019 to 08th July 2021;
  • CBR1000SP: From 09 th December 2019 to 12th July 2022;
  • NT1100D: From 27th September 2021 to 14th June 2022;
  • CRF1100A/D: From 09th September 2019 to 25th April 2022.
  • GL1800DA: From 04th December 2020 to 27th April 2022;

  • CBR1000ST: From 26th December 2019 to 10th June 2022.

The risk associated with the product is that of injuries, FUEL injection and ENG ignition stop, and in the worst case, the engine stalls during riding. For DCT vehicles, resetting the FI-ECU operation disconnects CAN communication with the DCT-ECU, causing the clutch to be disengaged, resulting in loss of driving force.

There are approximately 84 affected products sold in the Republic of Ireland.
