Toyota Recall model RAV 4

Toyota Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of the model of RAV 4 which were manufactured between October 2015 to April 2017.

Toyota have identified a safety issue whereby there is a possibility that an electrostatic charge will be created in the fuel filter element and be discharged on the fuel connector. If this were to occur, through continuous usage, fuel may leak through the fuel connector and odour may be detected from the engine area. There are 3357 Toyota vehicles affected currently on the Irish market.
