Toyota Prius recall

Toyota Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models of Toyota Prius vehicles manufactured between March 2009 and February 2014.

The recall is due to a potential fault with the software used to control the hybrid system.

This recall affects 700 vehicles in Ireland.

What to do

Letters will be sent by Toyota Ireland to customers informing them of the recall. The letter will advise you to contact your nearest Toyota dealer who will arrange to do the required software update free of charge.  No Parts are required to complete this software update.  If you have questions or concerns you should contact your local Toyota dealer or Toyota Ireland Customer Relations for assistance on 01-4190222.
