TJX Ireland Unlimited Company t/a TK Maxx and Homesense is carrying out a recall of American Princess & Couture Princess Occasion Dresses. 

The product presents a risk of injuries. The dress contains a plastic wire in the hem which may become exposed and protrude, creating a potential entanglement or trip hazard. 

The brands are American Princess and Couture Princess. The style numbers are A07884, A77889, CP07741, CP07887, CP07908, CP17866, CP17880, CP17904, CP17908, CP27741, CP27866, CP27873, CP27880, CP27883, CP27906, CP47741, CP47829, CP47874, CP47906, CP77742, CP77874 and CP77906. 

There are approximately 1617 affected products in the Republic of Ireland. The product was on sale in TK Maxx stores between March and April 2026. 

What to do: 

Customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund.
