Swiss Side recalls selected models of bicycle wheels HADRON², HADRON³ and HADRON All-Road.

Swiss Side is carrying out a recall of selected models of Swiss Side bicycle wheels HADRON², HADRON³ and HADRON All-Road. 

The risk reported to the CCPC is property damage, serious injury or death. The wheel rim may weaken or fail unexpectedly, leading to property damage, serious injury, or death.  

The brand is Swiss Side. The models are HADRON² All-Road, HADRON² All-Road Ultimate, HADRON² Classic 500, HADRON² Ultimate 500, HADRON³ Classic 550 and HADRON³ Classic 650. 

There are approximately 9 affected products in the Republic of Ireland. The products were sold by Decathlon and via Swissside.com.. The products were produced by manufacturing partner DT Swiss. 

What to do: 

Consumers should stop using the affected wheels immediately, check the DT Swiss ID number on their rims, and visit the DT Swiss Recall Notice or email recall@dtswiss.com to verify if their wheels are part of the recall. If affected, they should follow the instructions to return the wheels for inspection. DT Swiss will inspect the returned wheels and, if necessary, replace them free of charge.
