March 27, 2018
Suzuki Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models of the Suzuki Baleno, Swift, Ignis passenger car.
The production range of the affected vehicles is from May 2016 to 2017.
There is a possibility that because of improper software of engine control module, ENG A-STOP OFF light might blink and ENG A-STOP system (engine auto stop start system) might become inoperative. Due to this, if the car is driven continuously in the condition, lead-acid battery could not be charged, in worst case, there is possibility that engine stall would occur because the battery runs out.”
There are 91 affected vehicles on the Irish market,
