Renault Recalls Dacia Duster

Renault Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models of the Dacia Duster manufactured between February 2017 and May 2017.

Renault Ireland have advised that during prolonged constant use of the horn there is a risk of one or more of the following due to the incorrect amp in the horn wiring system:

  • Risk of the horn will stop working
  • Risk of triggering the driver airbag
  • Electrical and thermal risks from under the bonnet (location of the horn)

There are 114 of these vehicles on the Irish market.

What to do:

Letters will be sent by Renault to owners of the affected vehicles in order to have repairs carried out.
