Renault Megane Sport Tourer (2002 – 2008)

Renault is voluntary recalling the Megane Sport Tourer (2002-208) model, due to a potential problem with the rear spoiler mountings, which can weaken in certain conditions. While no accidents have occurred there is a risk that the rear spoiler may become detached when driving at high speed.

This recall affects approximately 1,327 vehicles in Ireland.

What to do:

Letters will be sent by Renault Ireland to owners of the affected vehicles and customers will be asked to arrange an appointment to have the car repaired at an authorised service agent. This repair will be free of charge.
