Recall of flat fan heaters

Home Retail Group Plc has recalled the Flat Fan Heater in its Homebase and Argos outlets. The problem relates to the product overheating, leading to a risk of fire and a potential exposure to live parts.
Approximately 5,857 of these units have been sold in Ireland.

What to do:

If you have bought one of these heaters, stop using it immediately. Check whether it falls within the batch codes indicated below. The batch code can be found embossed on the underside of the heater next to the silver rating plate.

• Argos batch codes affected are: 0937, 0939, 0944, 0948, 0949, 0953, 1009, 1024, 1028,1032,1034,1038, 1043 and 1050
• Homebase batch codes affected are: 0942 and 0944
