Nissan recalls certain Micra models

November 20, 2014

Nissan Ireland has issued a voluntary recall of certain Micra models produced between 27 May 2010 and 31 July 2012.

The recall is being carried out due to a potential problem with the driver airbag. The driver airbag could deploy abnormally in a crash which could possibly lead to injury.

There are 655 vehicles affected in Ireland.

What to do

Nissan Ireland will be writing directly to those owners involved in the recall to arrange to have their vehicles re-fitted with a new inflator.

The letter will advise you to contact your nearest Nissan dealer who will arrange to do the refit free of charge.  You can also contact Nissan Ireland directly on 1850 302 302.
