Nissan Micra recall

May 31, 2013

Nissan Ireland is conducting a voluntary recall of Nissan Micra vehicles because of a potential problem which could lead to a loosening of the steering wheel.

Affected vehicles were manufactured during the period between 02/12/2002 and 12/05/2006.

This recall involves 13,992 vehicles in Ireland.

What to do:

Nissan Ireland will be sending out letters with information about the problem to all affected owners. An owner can then take the letter to their local Nissan garage for a refit which will be carried out free of charge. Information about the recall can also be obtained from Nissan Ireland on (01) 409 1100.
