McVities Recall

United Biscuits has issued a product recall of the four Sweet Friends characters that have been distributed as part of a pack promotion. There is a potential risk of the eyes becoming detached which may pose a choking risk. The affected products are The Owl, The Puppy, The Kitten and The Tarsier:

 

 What to do:

United Biscuits will make direct contact with consumers and provide a prepaid envelope to return the character. On receipt of the returned character United Biscuits are providing a €7.00 voucher (redeemable against United Biscuits products) and a redesigned Sweet Friend character to each winner.
