May 8, 2020

Mazda Motor Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain ‘Mazda 3 (BP)’ and ‘Mazda CX 30 (DM)’ passenger vehicles.
The Mazda 3 (BP) vehicles were manufactured between November 2018 and October 2019, whilst the Mazda CX 30 (DM) vehicles were manufactured between April and October 2019.

There are 546 vehicles affected on the Irish Market.

Mazda has identified that affected vehicles may unexpectedly stop whilst driving. This is due to the inadvertent activation of the SBS automatic emergency braking system. If this occurs then there is a risk of a rear-end crash.
