May 2, 2017
Land Rover Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain models of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport manufactured between 12/4/16 and 31/10/16.
The locking retractor in the front passenger safety belt assembly may not function correctly. This could result in an increased risk to the passenger in the event of an airbag deployment following an accident.
There are 151 vehicles on the Irish market.
What to do:
Letters will be sent by Land Rover to the owners of the affected vehicles informing them of the recall and asking that they contact their Land Rover dealer to arrange for the required work to be completed.
