JAKO AG recalls various JAKO sports bags, personal bags and backpacks

JAKO AG is carrying out a recall of various JAKO sports bags, personal bags and backpacks.

The products present a health risk and an environmental risk. The products contain a high quantity of perfluorooctanoic-acid (PFOA) related substances. PFOAs are suspected to be carcinogenic and pose a risk to the environment.

The brand is JAKO. The Model Numbers/Item Numbers and product descriptions are listed in the table below.

Affected products can be returned to JAKO with a free return label to receive a replacement item of at least equal value, or a refund of the purchase price via the original payment method.
